Universal Acarsan

Operating within the body of Acarsan Holding, Universal Acarsan realises the constructions designed in accordance with international standards without interrupting the specified processes and without compromising high quality standards. Most of the projects are completed on turnkey basis including construction, medical equipment, building management system and hospital management system.

Constantly raising its success line with the projects it has realised to date, Universal Acarsan ranked 98th in the world and 10th in Turkey in the list of the ‘World's 250 largest international contractors’, which was determined by ENR (Engineering News Record), one of the most prestigious magazines of the construction sector, according to the income they obtained from the giant investments they made abroad in 2016.

OVERSEAS PROJECTS

Within the framework of the agreement between Acarsan Holding and the Iraqi Ministry of Health, the 600-bed Imam Sadik General Training Hospital, which was undertaken in the city of Hilla, was completed in 2016 and inaugurated by the Iraqi Minister of Health at the time. Equipped with the most advanced medical devices, the hospital was described by the Minister of Health as the largest hospital built in Iraq in the last 30 years.

Another project realised by Acarsan Holding for the Iraqi Ministry of Health is the 600-bed Imam Hasan al-Mucteba Hospital in Karbala, which was completed in 2020. Costing $ 202 million, the hospital was inaugurated with a ceremony attended by Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazimi.

Radiotherapy Hospitals completed in Hilla, Ramadi and Basra have been handed over to the Iraqi Ministry of Health. The 600-bed General Education Hospitals under construction in the cities of Basra, Nasiriyah and Amara have reached the stage of delivery to the Iraqi Ministry of Health. The construction of a 400-bed General Education Hospital in Kut city and 100-bed General Hospitals in Dujayil and Tuz Khurmatu cities are ongoing.

600-Bed Teaching Hospitals

The turnkey contract was signed for the construction of 6 full-fledged hospitals for the Iraqi Ministry of Health, including project, construction, medical equipment, building management system and hospital management system. Among the projects carried out in Karbala, Hilla, Basra, Amara, Nasiriyah cities;

Hilla and Karbala projects were completed and delivered to the Iraqi Ministry of Health. The construction of Amara, Nasiriye and Basra hospitals is in the finalisation phase.

HİLLA

Started to be constructed for the Iraqi Ministry of Health, Hilla General Training Hospital was built with a capacity of 600 beds. The total construction area is 74.713 m². The contract was signed in 2009 and delivered in 2016.

KARBALA

Started to be constructed for the Iraqi Ministry of Health, Karbala General Training Hospital was built with a capacity of 600 beds. The total construction area is 74,713 m². The contract was signed in 2009 and delivered in 2020.

BASRA

Started to be constructed for the Iraqi Ministry of Health, Basra General Training Hospital was built with a capacity of 600 beds. The total construction area is 74.713 m² and the contract was signed in 2009 and 93% of the construction was completed.

AMARA

Started to be constructed for the Iraqi Ministry of Health, Amara General Training Hospital was built with a capacity of 600 beds. The total construction area is 74.713 m²; the contract was signed in 2009 and 93% of the construction was completed.

NASIRIYAH

Started to be constructed for the Iraqi Ministry of Health, Nasiriyah General Training Hospital was built with a capacity of 600 beds. The total construction area is 74.713 m² and the contract was signed in 2009 and 93% of the construction was completed.

400-Bed General Training Hospital - 100-Bed General Hospitals

The rough construction of the full-fledged 400-bed general training hospital, which was started to be constructed in Kut city for the Iraqi Ministry of Health, and the 100-bed general hospitals, which were started to be constructed in Tuz Khurmatu and Dujayil, have been completed and will be delivered including medical equipment, building management system and hospital management system.

KUT

Started to be constructed for the Iraqi Ministry of Health, Kut General Training Hospital was built with a capacity of 400 beds. The total construction area is 81.806 m² and 36% of the construction contract signed in 2011 has been completed.

TUZ KHURMATU

Started to be constructed for the Iraqi Ministry of Health, Tuz Khurmatu Hospital was built on turnkey basis with all medical equipment. The total construction area is 28.218 m² and 36% of the construction contract signed in 2013 has been completed.

DÜCEYİL

Started to be constructed for the Iraqi Ministry of Health, Düceyil Hospital was built on turnkey basis with all medical equipment. The total construction area is 27.704 m² and 36% of the construction contract signed in 2013 has been completed.

THE RADİOTHERAPY CENTERS

The construction of the radiotherapy centres undertaken in Basra, Ramadi and Hilla cities were completed and delivered to the Iraqi Ministry of Health.
